Visitors can also tour the Miami Florida Blue Center, a revolutionary customer service experience in health care that lets visitors shop for health insurance, learn about their specific plans, receive preventative care screenings and participate in monthly wellness events.

The Subdudes came together in New Orleans back in 1997 for what they thought would be a one-night gig. They enjoyed each other's company so much that they formed the Subdudes. Their rootsy sound is mostly acoustic, with a strong emphasis on songwriting & vocal harmonies. Five albums & roughly a decade later, they split to pursue other avenues in 1996. After a few spinoff projects & a couple reunion gigs, three of the four original members came back together in 2002.

Nov 18, 2010: Paint With A Dolphin at The Dolphin Research Center
After watching an exciting behavior session, children will join the trainers on the dock for an up close introduction to the dolphins. Then, they'll kneel and hold the T-shirt over the water while the dolphins paint using the colors chosen. A commemorative photograph will also be available for purchase. If the accompanying adult does not wish to participate fully in the program, then a nominal $10 fee will be charged.

Conchtoberfest in Marathon Sep 13-19
Marathon, Florida Keys – Visitors to the Florida Keys can discover the chowder power and fritter flavor of conch (pronounced conk) during the inaugural weeklong Conchtoberfest 2010, set for Sept. 13-19 in Marathon.
Both a Keys food favorite and a term used to describe native-born islanders, conch and the laid-back Keys lifestyle are to be celebrated with the sights, sounds and smells of the themed event.
Starting Monday, Sept. 13, on each “Conchtoberfest Night” a Marathon restaurant or resort is to host a uniquely themed and decorated event that includes food, specialty drinks and menu items. These events lead up to a grand finale weekend Friday through Sunday, Sept. 17-19, at Hawks Cay Resort, 61 Hawks Cay Blvd. off U.S. Highway 1 at mile marker 61 oceanside.
Headlining the weekend’s entertainment is to be Taylor Carson and his blues-inspired rock and folk rhythms. Food and artisan vendor booths, kids’ activities and live entertainment in one of Marathon’s premier locations at Duck Key round out the weekend.
Weekend admission is $5 per person per day, with parking included in the fee. Hours are 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19.
